Our approach to therapy is somatic which means we use our body’s innate systems to help process and discharge small bits of trauma trapped in the nervous system.
We assist our clients in working through traumatic or difficult experiences by welcoming our bodies into the conversations we have in sessions. Using Somatic Experiencing® (or SE), we learn to be more aware of our physical sensations, which creates space for our bodies to reconnect with our innate healing response. We use our bodies' innate systems to help process and discharge small bits of trauma trapped in the nervous system which helps our bodies return to a more desirable way of functioning.
